Lutheran Care’s six gorgeous Op Shops across Adelaide and the Barossa urgently need your great quality, second-hand goods.

Sales of preloved items from our higher end ‘boutique style’ Elcies stores in Norwood, Semaphore and Tanunda, and our more traditional Lutheran Care Op Shops in northern Adelaide, raise funds for Lutheran Care’s programs.

From Emergency Relief (including food pantries, blankets, vouchers and referrals) and homelessness services, to Financial and Personal Counselling and parenting programs, Lutheran Care offers immediate support for people in crisis and ongoing services to help people improve their own lives in the longer term.

Right now, we are extremely low on stock. We are urgently seeking donations of:

• clothing
• accessories
• shoes
• furniture
• books
• homewares
• bric-a-brac
• décor
• kitchenware
• small electrical items
• and more!

A good old declutter at your place will help us raise funds for local families and individuals in need. Right now there are more people than ever knocking on our doors for support, including hundreds of people who’ve never needed our help before.

Sometimes it can be hard to let go of an item that has nostalgic value, was cherished by a loved one, or was expensive to purchase, but it just doesn’t suit or fit you or your home, and is taking up valuable storage room. We will honour your donation to get the best price for it that we can whilst offering significant savings from RRP. Your item gets a new life, our customer is happy with their unique purchase and we can also pass on 100 per cent of proceeds to Lutheran Care to help people right now.

And if a clothing item has stains or tears we can’t fix, we can upcycle it into handmade quilts or tote bags, or cut up as rags for commercial or domestic use.

By making space in your lives and homes, you are helping the environment and helping people doing it tough in your community. You are also partnering with SA-born and bred charity Lutheran Care. What’s not to love?
