Lutheran Care’s Family Zone is hosting a Family Fun Day during the upcoming school holidays, giving parents and caregivers the opportunity to enjoy a free day out with their little ones.
Held at Family Zone, Ingle Farm Primary School on Friday, April 19, the event aims to bring the local community together and invites people of all ages to come along.
Included in this year’s family-friendly entertainment is a petting zoo, jumping castle, face painting, games, magic show and more. Plus a coffee van and some food will be onsite to keep everyone’s energy levels up!
There will also be stalls from local community organisations providing information on their family services including Lutheran Care and Elcies Disability Care, Salisbury Council, Pooraka Farm Community Centre and The Salvation Army’s Parents Next.
Lutheran Care’s Team Leader Families and Relationships Daniela Borg said the event was shaping up to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our Family Fun Day this year and hope it will give people in the community a chance to get out of the house and create some fun memories with the little ones in their lives,” she said.
“We know taking the whole family out for a day can be expensive and for some people right now it’s just not an option once everything else like bills and food is covered for the week.
“By making this event free, our hope is that we can help make and share positive experiences, especially for families where the cost of living has had a significant impact on.”
Family Zone’s Family Fun Day will be held from 11am to 2pm on April 19. Ingle Farm Primary School is located at 2 Belalie Road, Ingle Farm.
Family Zone would like to thank the following vendors for providing their services at the upcoming event: Affordable Castles Adelaide, Karen Beins Face Painting, Deja Brew Coffee, Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm SA and Scott Stunz – Magician.
