Lutheran Care opened its first Elcies shop on The Parade, Norwood, in October 2019. Following this success, we opened Elcies Barossa in Tanunda on 1 October 2020. Semaphore joined the family in January 2023.

These gorgeous shops stock a fantastic selection of good-quality, second hand items, including clothing, handbags, shoes, purses, novels, jewellery, furniture and homewares.

We give people’s good quality preloved wares another chance at life, rescuing items that could have otherwise ended up in landfill. Our sorters have already done the hard work for customers, with sought-after brands and collectable items handpicked to please our discerning shoppers.

The Elcies brand was created to enable Lutheran Care to help more people in need, with proceeds from the sales of donated items going towards our programs for people experiencing crisis, hardship, homelessness and disadvantage, including Emergency Relief.

We honour your donation by seeking the best price we can for it, as every dollar benefits Lutheran Care clients. Our customers can be happy they can pick up a quality, unique item much cheaper than what they would have had to pay new, and feeling good that their spend helps make a difference to people in need.
