Lutheran Care partners with Adelaide Fringe in 2025 to bring joy to hundreds of South Australians

Lutheran Care is thrilled to be a Supporting Partner of Adelaide Fringe in 2025, which will allow us to give tickets to our clients and community groups experiencing disadvantage during this year’s festival in February and March.

Specifically recognised as a Giving Day Matching Partner, Lutheran Care’s partnership will once again help more people attend the Fringe who would otherwise be unable to attend and enjoy the world-renowned festival.

This is the third year in a row that Lutheran Care has supported Adelaide Fringe. Over the past two years we have had the privilege of handing out more than 1000 tickets to members of the community experiencing hardship or those who have been impacted by cost of living pressures.

In 2024 alone, Lutheran Care distributed a massive 687 tickets to community members including people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, families accessing Lutheran Care’s food relief program, and people connected with Lutheran Care parenting, counselling, financial counselling and Community Connections programs.

Many of Lutheran Care’s incredible Foster Carers also received tickets and enjoyed an opportunity to make memories as a family without the financial burden last year.

Lutheran Care’s Chief Executive Officer Rohan Feegrade said it was exciting to support Adelaide Fringe again in 2025, with this year’s event including the return of much-loved artists and shows, alongside new talent and experiences that truly reflect the diversity and spirit of Fringe.

“Lutheran Care was proud to be the first South Australian not-for-profit organisation to invest so significantly in making the Adelaide Fringe a more inclusive festival back in 2023,” Mr Feegrade said.

“We believe that the Arts are for everyone, so being a Supporting Partner of Adelaide Fringe again in 2025 demonstrates our continual commitment to social inclusion, one of our core values as an organisation.”

Like Adelaide Fringe, Lutheran Care celebrates diversity and encourages social connection, bringing people and communities together as a vital part of community connection and wellbeing.

“Partnering with the Adelaide Fringe allows us to bring the magic of this iconic festival to more South Australians, creating opportunities for equal access, enriching lives, and special moments of connection,” Mr Feegrade said.

“When we offer free tickets to families and individuals facing tough times, we witness the pure joy and excitement that lights up a child’s face or the relief and gratitude in a parent’s smile. These moments of happiness remind us of the power of inclusion and the magic of creating memories that bring hope and connection to those who need it most.”

Lutheran Care is currently working with the Adelaide Fringe team to distribute tickets to a selection of shows through our various sites, services and networks in South Australia.

As the biggest arts festival in Australia, this year’s Adelaide Fringe schedule includes more than 1400 shows across comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, visual art, music and interactivity.

The 2025 Adelaide Fringe runs from February 21 to March 23. Visit the Adelaide Fringe website to find out more about this year’s shows and events, or keep a look out for the Fringe Guide which will be available from mid-January.
