During NAIDOC Week, we are excited to share with you our Lutheran Care Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), Feb 2022-Feb 2023, which has now been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.
You can read through our RAP online here.
Lutheran Care’s RAP outlines our continued commitment to actions that promote reconciliation and opportunities to foster strong and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities.
The NAIDOC Week 2022 theme is ‘Get up! Stand Up! Show up!’ Lutheran Care’s staff and volunteers are participating in a range of celebrations this week that celebrate the history, culture and the important contributions and perspectives that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have made, and continue to make, to our society.
We particularly acknowledge and thank our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, volunteers, foster parents and clients this week, and hope everyone is having a wonderful NAIDOC week.
Lutheran Care recognises the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we deliver services in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and we acknowledge and respect the Traditional Owners’ spiritual connections to these lands.
