If you’re looking for your next adventure; a way to learn skills, make new friends and do some good with your spare time, consider volunteering at Lutheran Care! We have more than 300 volunteers in various roles across our organisation who make meaningful contributions to the lives of vulnerable South Australians every day.
From assisting customers or helping behind the scenes in our op shops, to connecting families in crisis with our Emergency Relief program, visiting an elderly person for just an hour a fortnight through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, or bringing a smile to the faces of children and parents at our Family Zone hub, there are different roles available to suit your skills and interests.
Volunteers can choose their time commitment; even an hour or two per week is appreciated. We provide training and ongoing support, and offer reimbursement for travel and expenses, as well as host a number of volunteer appreciation events throughout the year. Enjoy all this, plus the feel-good factor of helping people in need in your community.

If you love fashion and goods from yester year, meeting new people or repurposing new from old – then volunteering in our Op Shops is for you!
